Why Donate to Us
Tony’s Community Kitchen is open every evening, 7 nights a week, 365 days a year. Yes, on weekends, public holidays, wet days, cold days, Christmas Day.
You're donations of goods, money or time go directly to supporting men, women and children of all ages from all cultural backgrounds, that are homeless or at risk of homelessness and experiencing economic stress or social isolation.
Donate Goods
We gratefully accept donations to pass onto our client and to use in the cooking of our meals. Donations are non-perishable goods and non-alcoholic drinks also. Toiletry packs for men and women are also appreciated.
If you would like to drop of a donation, you can find the kitchen at 174a James Street. Drop off times are between 3-5pm Monday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday.
Volunteer your time
We welcome those who can cook up a storm, who can assist with serving meals, or doing bread/ donated food pickups.
But really, if you have a kind heart and want to work with an organisation and people who want to help the community, we’d love to have a chat.

Monetary Donations
It costs us $395 a day to run the kitchen, staffed 100% by volunteers, therefore every cent donated goes to keeping our doors open and providing support to those in need.
Your donation no matter how big or small helps those who are less fortunate.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
