What an incredible day for Tony’s Community Kitchen! We are thrilled to have been awarded 1st Place in the Community Section at the 2026 Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Parade.

The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Parade is one of our city's most loved traditions, bringing together local organisations, businesses and community groups for a colourful celebration of everything that makes our region special.

This year, Tony’s Community Kitchen was proud to be part of the festivities, and taking home first place made the occasion even more memorable!

A Community Effort Worth Celebrating

Behind our award-winning parade entry was an incredible group of people who generously gave their time, creativity and enthusiasm to bring it all together.

From the initial planning and decorating to everyone who dressed up, joined the parade and helped out on the day, every contribution played a part in making our entry a success.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our volunteers, supporters and wider community to come together, have some fun and celebrate the community spirit that sits at the heart of Tony’s Community Kitchen.

Seeing everyone get involved and embrace the excitement of the Carnival of Flowers made the experience truly special.

Celebrating Toowoomba's Community Spirit

Being part of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Parade is always a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our city and the people who make it such a great place to live.

For Tony’s Community Kitchen, the parade was about more than flowers, costumes and decorations. It was an opportunity to celebrate the connections, generosity and teamwork that make our organisation possible.

Winning 1st Place in the Community Section was an incredible honour and a reflection of the enthusiasm and dedication of everyone involved.
