This winter around 6000 visits to our kitchen are expected for a hot meal and shower or to use our laundry facilities. ALL SERVICES ARE FREE AT NO CHARGE. But we need your help to keep our doors open and food flowing for our friends who need us 365 nights a year. We never close - Christmas day, Boxing Day and public holidays. We want to give a big shout out and thanks to Foodbank Queensland for their recent financial support to help local flood affected communities. Foodbank QLD has donated $2,500 to Tony's Community Kitchen to assist those who have been affected by the recent flooding events. In the coming weeks we plan on doing visits to flood affected communities to offer these much needed emergency supplies.

We want to give a big thanks to Toowoomba Regional Council for their recent support. Toowoomba Regional Council has granted us $2,389 to purchase new outdoor tables and chairs for our Community Kitchen eating area, this grant will help us to obtain 40 new chairs, and 10 new tables to provide a space for people when the visit to sit and enjoy a meal.

Oct 11, 2021 Easter 2020 we were looking after around 25 people with a meal 7 nights a week…fast forward to October 2021 where our average is 80 people who come every night for a meal. Today is World Homeless Day…with so many people struggling we know there is more to be done and we are grateful to everyone who helps us in what we do… While we can’t solve the homelessness problem, what we can do is to provide a meal, groceries, a shower and laundry, a safe place for people to

0ct 11, 2021 Have you had your COVID-19 vaccination booster yet? Tony’s Community Kitchen is hosting a clinic on Sunday 3rd April (4:30pm - 6:30PM). Anyone who hasn’t had their first vaccination may also come along, no need to book. It’s available to anyone over 12 years old, and to volunteers and their families as well as our kitchen friends. NO NEED TO BOOK!! Just turn up between 4.45pm and about 6pm.
